Holguin
The eastern city of Holguin comes to life for a week of vibrant parades and a variety of musical acts during the Romerias de Mayo Festival, one of the largest Cuban festivals. You can enjoy music including acoustic, jazz, classical, and traditional Cuban music. There will be demonstrations of numerous dance, art, and workshop genres (albeit many of them will be in Spanish. The magic of Stereo-G cannot be described, but must be discovered." This event is sponsored by the Electrozona project and the Holguin section of the Hermanos Saiz Association. The fans and practitioners of the genre gather at Caletones, a coastal settlement in the municipality of Gibara in Holguin.

Dance enthusiasts can join the event to enjoy or to compete in Classical, Neoclassical or Contemporary Dance, in the categories of "interpretation", "choreography" and "best company staging". There will be an award gala on September 29.
