Madeira Wine Festival is a celebration of Madeira's wine culture and heritage. The festival includes wine tastings, exhibitions, concerts and street parties. During this festival, the Madeira Wine Lounge will be set up at Praça do Povo, creating a cosmopolitan and contemporary atmosphere centred around wine appreciation. Guests can enjoy themed dinners inspired by the flavours and wines of each producing municipality. The area will also feature a stage with various musical performances throughout the festival.
The Columbus festival recalls the Age of Discoveries and attracts hundreds of visitors to Porto Santo. It begins with Columbus’ arrival on the island in the 15th century, recreating the atmosphere of that time. This festival, created by the teachers and students of the local schools, entails drama scenes, acrobatics shows, juggling and constant animation in the streets of the village, following the dress code of the time.
Classics at Magnolia is a living showcase where the best preserved classic cars of the region shine. A tribute to the automobile but also to the motorist, with the recreation of the fascinating atmosphere of the early 20th century. This two-day party will storm the Quinta Magnolia estate and will give the general public the opportunity to get up close with dozens of classic vehicles, some of them over 100 years old.
