Each year, the Grupo Empresarial Extrahotelero Palmares S.A. hosts this prestigious competition at the Varadero Golf Club. Golfers from both the professional and amateur ranks compete in this tournament for two prizes in each category plus a prize for the highest gross score on this magnificent 18-hole, par 72 course.
The Varadero Golf Club hosts the Cup. For the first category, which includes men and women, the event is played in a stroke-play format. The second category is played in Stableford format.
